Otherwaysofsewagetreatmentincludeair flotation, triplemediafilter,activatedcarbonfilter,sandfiltrationandsludgedryingbeds. Thesemethods alltakeplaceinsewagetreatmentplants. Watertreatmentplantsarevery priceyandareneededto bemaintainedconstantly. Removalofsludgeissaidtobethemostuntreatedareaofwatertreatment. Thisisbecauseofthepoordesignandpoormaintenanceofthesludgetreatments. Indiahassetpolicies tocontrolsewagepollutioninwater. heMinistryofEnvironmentandForestsha screatedfinancialand technicalsupportsystemstopromotethepropertreatmentofwater. TheproblemwithIndiaswater treatmentisthatthegovernmentisnotputtingenougheffortintomakingthewaterusableforitscitizens. Thegovernmentshouldpromotethe healthhazardsandfutureissuesofwaterpollutionsothecitizens canlearntotreattheirwaterbetter. Informingcitizensisalsoawayoftreatmentbecausepeople bequeathbe awareoftheissueswaterpollutionwillcauseforthemandthereforetheywilltakeaction.
